One Man DreamPop project from Austin. "Gentle Girl" is a great shegazer track that harkens back to Creation Days. Aaron's vocals are what set these songs apart. They standout & don't get buried in the mix beneath the haze. The man obviously knows his way around in a studio.

This release features more drawn out songs that showcase shimmering keyboards and guitars. Overall A more subdued daydream experience in my opinion. "Dragonflies" is clearly the highlight here. "Summer Getaway" reminds of OMD....a little bit & Petty cover "Learning to Fly" is given the majestic treatment it deserves. Vocally this is the best release in Ask For Joy's BC output.
